Claribel Chain (1905-1994) from Myanmar (formerly Burma) was one of the key Asian leaders within the World YWCA.
Along with her dedication and commitment to the YWCA, she was the only woman in Myanmar who headed a Peace Mission when civil war broke out between the Myanmar Government and the ethnic resistance group during 1948 and 1949.
