Cristina Virreyra Diez Canseco - the heart of grassroots women in Bolivia

Cristina Virreyra Diez Canseco is a true example of a grassroots woman who changes lives and changes communities.

Cristina has been a member of the YWCA of La Paz in Bolivia since her adolescence.During her 64 years in La Paz YWCA, she has founded the Mother's Club, the Friendship Club, the Book Club and has always been available for help. She has given many talks about the YWCA movement as well as leadership and voluntary assistance to many women and young women in Bolivia.
