‘Women are dying on our watch’ says Mary Robinson, Former President of Ireland in a new World YWCA documentary, 'Women Are … Finding Solutions'. Robinson calls for urgent leadership to reduce HIV infection rates among women and girls, and is one of a number of high profile women leaders featured in the 52 minute documentary.

Launched on World AIDS Day, December 1, 2006,' Women Are... Finding Solutions' brings together women leaders from various backgrounds and walks of life to explore solutions to the global AIDS epidemic. The Deputy President of South Africa, Phumzile Mlambo Ngcuka who is heading up the AIDS response in her country, where one in five adults is estimated to be living with HIV features in the documentary, along with Kathleen Cravero from UNDP, Purnima Mane from UNAIDS, Marina Mahatir, Malaysian AIDS Activist and many women working in the heart of local communities to halt the spread of HIV.
