We are all Laila
We are all Laila" is an initiative to devote a day, annually, to speak up about the problems facing oppressed women in the Arab region.
On that day, bloggers publish posts under the title of "We are all Laila" to raise awareness and discuss the concerns of women in Arab societies. The idea started with a group of female bloggers, led by "Lasto Adri", "Bent Masreya", "Shaimaa", "Arabesque" and "Epitaph." Despite the fact that "We are all Laila" was founded by bloggers from Egypt, the founders assure that it is for all Arab women in general and not only Egyptians.
