Helping Hands in Zurich
In less than a week women from over 100 countries will meet in Zurich for the World YWCA Council and the International Women’s Summit. The YWCA YMCA of Switzerland and the World YWCA Office in Geneva have been working around the clock to welcome the participants as the arrive to Zurich.
Around 150 volunteers from the YWCA YMCA of Switzerland will be wearing red t-shirts with the World YWCA Council and IWS logo in the front and the message ‘Helping Hands’ on the back. Keep an eye out for the “Red Volunteers” as they will be greeting you at the airport and they will be present all week to guide you and help you make your way through the exciting activities and meetings being offered. The volunteers will also be wearing a badge that indicates the language that they speak.
