Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Executive Director of UN Women and Dr. Natalia Kamen,Deputy Executive Director of UNFPA joined a group of young women from WAAGS and the YWCA movement to discuss women’s economic empowerment and the role of young women in ensuring gender equality.

Young women engaged on different topics related to leadership and how to ensure that young women get more seats at the decision-making table.
While discussing the pressure and frustrations that young women face when confronted with the social-economic glass ceilings, Natalia Kamen urged them to find a moment for self-care and to seek the support of likeminded people.
