On 16 November, the World YWCA and the World YMCA hosted a World Week of Prayer Service at the World Council of Churches in Geneva. It was open to the public who joined to sing, pray, and reflect around the theme “Leaving no one behind”. We are all equal in the image of God and as part of the reflection, Nora Bandixen, General Secretary of YWCA Europe said “Our movements continue providing clear and relevant responses to radicalization, division and the lack of hope that millions of people experience daily. We are thankful to everyone across our world who helps to build communities, and preserve peace, justice and understanding.” After the service everyone met up for a friendly lunch reception at the World YWCA office.
