In 2011, the dsc_0544Mobilising Young Women’s Leadership and Advocacy in Asia and the Pacific project was initiated in bagladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and the Solomon Islands. Nine projects and one sub-regional project have been funded so far to invest in young women’s leadership and training events on young women’s leadership. This is a summary of the core activities carried out by the various YWCA’s of the region, key messages and personal stories about the impact of the project.
