YWCA of Korea Network on violence against women such as ‘Domestic and Sexual Violence Counseling Centers’, ‘Shelters’ and ‘Sex worker’s support centers’ gathered in Daejeon, Korea on Tuesday, November 29th to take active part in the United Nations Campaign UNiTE “Orange the World” to end and to raise the awareness on Violence against Women and Girls.

11 Regional YWCA (Gwangju, Gwangmyeong, Nonsan, Daejeon, Sejong, Anyang, Cheonan, Cheongju, Chungju, Pohang and Hanam) sexual violence center Directors, Kim, Jungmin (President, Daejeon YWCA) wore their orange scarfs to join along with Yoo, Duksoon (General Secretary, Daejeon YWCA), Kim, Eunkyung (Chairperson, Committee for Gender, Violence Against Women) of National YWCA of Korea, Regional Program Officer Daniel Lee and Public Affairs Specialist KIM Dae-young Embassy of the United States of America to have the ‘Violence against Women’ workshop and the offline discussions.
