Over 60 million girls worldwide are child brides, married before the age of 18, primarily in South Asia (31.3 million) and sub-Saharan Africa (14.1 million) (UNICEF). Child marriage has a negative effect on the girls’ health, access to education and overall opportunities. The World YWCA has developed a toolkit to support these girls through initiatives anchored in the local communities.

To illustrate the toolkit and make it easy to grasp, we have also created posters for you to share widely.
