Kelli Shewmaker

Kelli Shewmaker serves as Event Coordinator, preparing for the World Council and Leadership Summit coming up in 2027. Kelli brings more than 25 years of experience supporting mission-driven nonprofits and small businesses with specific strengths in project management, operations, systems, and event coordination. Most recently, she served for more than ten years in several roles at YWCA USA. During her time there, she supported national conferences, advocacy events, learning cohorts, board committees, and global engagement with World YWCA, including participation in preparations for World Council and UN Commission on the Status of Women delegations.

She was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Amarillo, Texas. Kelli has lived in Washington, D.C., for over 18 years, volunteering with local civic technology groups and advocating for Washington, D.C.’s statehood.
